Annual meeting with elections and program.

Elections will be held to select all officers and 4 board members.

Historian Mary Lipsey will present Breaking Down Barriers: An African American History Inventory.

The Historical Society of Fairfax County will elect officers and board members at a meeting on Saturday, June 13, at City of Fairfax Library at 1 p.m.

This is the slate proposed by the nominating committee:

President: Sue Kovach Shuman
Vice President: Elizabeth Crowell
Secretary: Suzanne Levy
Treasurer: Bob Phillips
Board of Directors seats: Karen Connair, Georgia Brown, Maston Gray

STILL NEEDED:
– One more volunteer for the board. We will accept nominations at the meeting.
– A person to take minutes at all meetings.
